Jeffrey (Jeff) A. Gray has recently retired after more than 28 years at the Dow Corning Corporation in Midland Michigan.   Jeff joined Dow Corning in 1989 after completing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. 

 

His roles at the Dow Corning Corporation included working in the Corporate Safety Department working globally with various sites.  He served as the Safety & Loss Prevention Manager for Dow Corning’s Midland Site managing the Safety, Loss Prevention and Site Shift Leaders organizations for Midland Site.  Other various roles included product development, manufacturing engineering and various leadership roles in manufacturing.

Jeff was a co-author of the ASTM Manual 33 2nd Edition - Chlorosilane Emergency Response Guidelines.

 

Jeff has been a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) since 2014.  Jeff has been an active member of the Lansing/Mid-Michigan ASSE chapter since late 2015 and attended the 2016 ASSE Leadership Conference.  Jeff currently serves as the Vice President of the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the ASSE.

In 2017 Jeff established JAG Safety Consulting LLC to continue his career focusing on the safety handling of silanes and improvement of overall personal safety.
